We’ve had it with this Jacksonville weather that has been partly cloudy, rainy, sometimes sunny, randomly cold, etc. BUT at least there is no shortage of fun things to do, regardless of rain or shine. As an extra plus though, the weather is slowly getting better as we get close to spring!

Wednesday, 2/20

Downtown Wine Down – The doors are opening up at 3:30pm for this one, so you are really getting a chance to come in early and wine down at Cowford Chophouse! Buy a ticket, secure your spot on the rooftop bar, and enjoy cocktails and live music all night looonnnggg.

Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit Giveaway – If you haven’t already heard the good news, get the free chicken biscuits at most Chick-fil-A restaurants in Jax while the offer still stands! On Wednesday mornings from 7-9am, snag yo biscuit for quite the steal.

Thursday, 2/21

OspreyWorld Homecoming – I know, I know. You may not be a UNF student or alum. But no worries because this carnival is fun, regardless. AND, if you happen to know a UNF student, they can bring a free guest, so my advice is to definitely go meet a current Osprey. From 6-10pm, prepare for rides, games, food, and FUN.

February North Beaches Art Walk – Held the 3rd Thursday of every month, North Beaches Art Walk is a free event in Neptune Beach! Showcasing live performers, artists and their work, and all types of talent, come out from 5-9pm for the show. Bring a friend and let’s get CULTURAL.

Friday, 2/22

Break Evn Band – At River City Brewing Company, Break Evn is planning to rock your socks all night long (they start at 7pm, for all you time-conscious folks). If you are into classic rock, beer, or both (not being into any of these things is not realistic), then come on out for a good time!

Coastal Carnivale – At the Beaches Town Center (AKA, where Atlantic Boulevard meets The Ocean), the 2nd annual Coastal Carnivale returns to do some major fundraising for town center improvements! From 7-11pm, there will be salsa dancing, live music, a silent auction, dinner, and an open bar. So get your tickets, people!

Saturday, 2/23

Riverside Craft Beer Festival – Mark your calendars for this year’s 6th annual Riverside Craft Beer Festival at the Riverside Arts Market at 3pm! With over 100 amazing craft beer choices, killer food trucks, and live music, there’s just no reason not to go! Even better, all proceeds benefit the children and their families at Community Hospice & Palliative Care!

2019 Ortega River Run – There is never a shortage of runs all around Jacksonville! So for anyone that wants to be active, lose weight, or simply is bored, sign up for the 2019 Ortega River Run! Slackers, you can do the 1 mile fun run; overachievers, sign up for the 5 mile journey (just kidding). There will be food and giveaways following the runs!

Sunday, 2/24

Car & Bike Show – Need something a little different for your typical lazy Sunday? Perfect! Because Callahan Cruisers of North Florida is bringing their Car & Bike Show to Jacksonville from 8am-3pm! If you’re in the mood to check out some really cool vehicles, head over to Adamec Harley-Davidson for this FREE family event!

Monday, 2/25

The Bachelor Weekly Watch Party – If you aren’t on The Bachelor train yet, it’s not too late to catch up on 7 episodes (or is it?)! Get all your Colton Underwood-loving friends and hop on over to River City Brewing to watch the show. Worst comes to worst, you drink beer to drown out the misery of watching so much drama unfold.

Mellow Mushroom Trivia – Guess what day it is!! IT’S HUMPDAY. Jk, it’s actually Monday. So what better way to get through the Monday blues than trivia at Mellow Mushroom? It’s free, it’s fun, it comes with prizes. 7:30 pm, be there or be sad you missed it.

Mosaic Night – If you haven’t come out for a Mosaic Night with Hammer & Stain yet, you should reconsider your plans! With 70 mosaic options to craft (yes, SEVENTY), you really get a plethora of choices to create something you like, with your own personal touch! Get your ticket & get crafting!

Flask & Cannon Trivia – Tuesday & Thursday nights at 7pm, Flask & Cannon wins the best-trivia-environment award for sure (even though I made that up)! Get a squad and get ready to dive into great drinks, awesome pizza, and TRIVIA. Top 3 winners get prizes, so it’s definitely worth your time!
