With tons of restaurants, businesses, and bars popping up in historic Springfield, residents are finally seeing the Main Street makeover they’ve been waiting for! Let me tell you about the top new places to visit.
Breweries
String Sports Brewery
1850 N Main Street
Word on the street is that owner, Scott Adeeb, took a bold step forward and transformed an abandoned, former service station into String Sports Brewery. With 2 full-size basketball hoops, numerous TVs, dart boards and an outdoor beer garden the unique atmosphere at String Sports Brewery is definitely worth trying out. (11-11 pm // Drink $)

Owner Dennis Espinosa has had a passion for brewing beer for years, He was just waiting for the right time to open a brewery of his own! Coffee + Restaurants + More
Social Grounds Coffee
1712 N Main St.
Social Grounds aims to change a life, one cup at a time, as a veteran-owned coffee shop! Fresh roasted, specialty coffee… my mouth is already watering. With many of their coffee originating from Rwanda and Burundi, they have powerful stories behind their flavors. Maybe this is a great spot for a casual first date (wink, wink).
