Handbuilding Teapots at Murray Hill Art Center
Learn to make an elegant and functional teapot using hand building techniques. You will learn how to design an ergonomic handle, a spout that pours cleanly and a built-in strainer that is useful for looseleaf tea. Participants will have the option to glaze their own pot once it’s bisqued, or choose a glaze from a limited selection and their work will be glazed for them after the workshop. Work will be ready for pick up within four weeks after the workshop.
