Corey Holcomb: Comedy Show
Corey performed at his first open mic in 1992 and has since been on Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show,” while also taking top honors at the Miller Genuine Draft Comedy Search and Budweiser Comedy Competition. His comedy focuses on the dynamics of heterosexual relationships, normally referring, jestingly, to the man as the “hunter” and the woman as the “prey.” He will have five shows over this three-day window. Brahms’ Pastoral Symphony
Dynamic conductor Matthew Halls is returning to the Jacoby Symphony Hall for an orchestrated melody of beauty and serenity at this year’s Brahms’ Pastoral Symphony. There are string sections, French horn solos and famous lullabies. With a show on both Friday and Saturday at 7:30, this is a great event for serene, melodic music lovers. 7:30 p.m. $25- $77. “Show Me Reptile and Exotics” Show
Snakes, chameleons, lemurs, and more, the “Show Me Reptile and Exotics” Show will display their high-variety collection of exotic animals this Saturday at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. Customers should come to “Experience, learn and maybe even bring home a new family member.” For anyone interested in unique animals, consider attending this event. 10 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. $10- $20. The Duuuval Brawl
With the NWA returning to Jacksonville, the Love-Alive Charity is hosting this event for wrestling fans, including a special Live TV Taping at “The Duuuval Brawl 4 Event.” Many well-known NWA athletes will be in attendance, including NWA Heavyweight Champion, Trevor Murdoch, and NWA TV Champion, Tyrus and “Da Pope” Elijah Burke. 7 p.m. $10- $25. Southeast Eurofest
If you like European cars, or happen to own one worth including at the Eurofest Car Show, this Sunday is the perfect opportunity to get your fix. It is free admission to show your vehicle but $20 for spectators. Besides classic cars, there will also be a DJ, food trucks, raffles and a kids’ area with coloring and games. Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indiana Colts
This is one of your last chances to see the Jags play this season, so make your way over to the TIAA Bank Field to cheer them against the streaking Colts.
