With Christmas just around the corner, this could be one of the best and busiest seasons in Jacksonville. There are many festive events taking place, like Christmas bar crawls, guided walks to view light displays, glowing sculptures at the museum and more. And assuming the Florida weather stays warm, you may not even have to bundle up. Read on for our list of Jacksonville’s most popular upcoming holiday activities. Cumberland Band
Cumberland describes themselves as an “outlaw country band,” influenced by artists like the Highwaymen and Midland. They will be performing at the Muse Bourbon Bar this Friday in the Mandarin area. With plenty of well-known whiskey and bourbon options, the Muse is a great place to sip on a drink and enjoy the music. 9 p.m. Free to attend. Beaches North Pole Express
If you have young kids or are faced with babysitting obligations this weekend, fear not, for the Beaches North Pole Express event is happening at the Beaches Museum. Activities for the guests include arts and crafts, writing a letter to Santa, taking photos, and simply enjoying the Beaches Museum’s festive holiday atmosphere. Jacksonville BBQ Festival
The inaugural Jacksonville BBQ Fest is back, taking place at the TIAA Bank Field. Grilling action isn’t the only exciting event on tap, there is also going to be a memorable music lineup. The PitMaster crew includes folks from Blues Hog Barbecue, Sugarfire Smokehouse, and Memphis Barbecue Company, among others. You can also get a Q Pit pass to spice up your experience and enjoy samples, as well as lounge chairs in the Q Pit. Illuminating Nature
The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is holding a recurring Illuminating Nature event, in which an installation of many glowing, fabric sculptures have been planted within the Museum’s two-and-a-half acre backyard, for all visitors to admire. The event is free, with food and beverages available for purchase, including a specialty drink bar. 4-9 p.m. Free. 4th Annual Christmas Bar Crawl

Fun Walk in Jacksonville Beach
America’s Walking Club is strolling to see the “Deck the Chairs” display in Jacksonville Beach on Wednesday night. The group is going for a 5K walk but will include the display on their route. For anyone who is looking to get a little exercise, while also staying in the holiday spirit, this could be a great opportunity.
