Even though the holidays are just around the corner, there are still plenty of high-quality concerts coming to the Jacksonville area this month. We’ve assembled a list of five of the best ones, a mix of new acts, throwback artists, and holiday performances, giving you a huge range of stuff to enjoy in between family dinners and holiday parties.

Slothrust, Xarissa, and C.B. Carlyle & the Desert Angels at High Dive

This stacked indie rock bill is well worth the drive southwest to Gainesville, headlined by Boston slack rockers Slothrust. They’re touring in support of their latest album, “Parallel Timeline,” a diverse, compelling collection of tracks that launch the band into a ton of new sonic directions. With special guest appearances from rising locals Xarissa and C.B. Chris Isaak at the Florida Theatre
Well-loved musician and actor Chris Isaak’s latest project sees him hitting the road all December long to perform tracks from his recently released album of Christmas songs, as well as iconic tracks from the rest of his catalog. Trans-Siberian Orchestra at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena

Traveling to 60 cities across the US throughout the holiday season, the latest incarnation of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s one-of-a-kind live show is a great way to get your whole family up and out of the house to enjoy some holiday classics. Miami hip hop legend Trick Daddy is celebrating 25 years since the release of his debut album “Based on a True Story” with a massive concert at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena featuring nostalgic hip-hop acts like Jeezy, Plies, Trina, and Juvenile. Mary J. Blige, K. Michelle, and Queen Naija at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena
