Now that we are finally moving past the stay-at-home phase of life and into normalcy, concerts are back in Jacksonville. So if you’ve been twiddling your thumbs while you wait on some of your favorite artists to tour the nation, keep reading for the best, upcoming music in Jax this summer.

Big Gigantic
Have you heard all the buzz around town about Big Gigantic? They have popular mixes that feature everything from EDM to hip hop to jazz. They have played Lollapalooza, Coachella and Ultra, just to name a few of their main gigs on the festival circuit. Music Under the Lights
If you’re looking for some light live music, Deacon Parks is a local acoustic duo that performs everyone’s favorite traditional and modern country melodies. The spring concert series, Music Under the Lights, will be held on the lawn between Cooper’s Hawk and Palmetto Moon at the Jacksonville Town Center. The best part: it’s totally free! Concerts in the Plaza
Every Thursday night, prepare for some live entertainment at the Plaza de la Constitución in St. Augustine (also known as “The Gazebo”). The Jacksonville Symphony now enjoys a national reputation, despite a small start in Jax in 1949, and is a community leader for music education. Normally astounding all their listeners each year, the pandemic made things a little shaky last year. SeaWalk Music Fest
If you’re looking for a casual event to pop out the lawn chair and some brewskis with your best pals, look no further. The Seawalk Music Fest brings all the local musical talent out, right next to the beach and the bars, at the SeaWalk Pavilion. Classic Albums Live performs The Beatles
Yes, it’s a bummer that the real Beatles are not performing their iconic album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” but Classic Albums Live does an awesome job at recreating classic hits live on stage. They will be performing many of the Beatles’ top songs from this album and many more! Tickets are only $35, so hop on it while there are still seats. 8 pm. $35+. Daily’s Place in downtown Jax will be the venue for the famous country artist, Brad Paisley. The venue seats 5,500 people, so come one, come all! Who knows how many Grammy nominations Jamey Johnson has received? The answer is 11! He is one of the most talented country singers of all time. If you aren’t sure if you know the name, listen to “In Color,” one of his more popular songs. His guest band, Whiskey Myers, also has an impressive list of awards and chart-topping songs. If you want some old-time country, head to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. 7 pm. $25-65.
