Best Açaí Bowl Stops for Hipsters and the Not-So-Hip
For those of you that say YEA to açaí, let me tell where you can get the best açaí bowls all around Jacksonville!
Nékter Juice Bar – My personal favorite place to get açaí is Nékter in Jax Beach. Biggest pros: You can order online, vegan ice cream is an option, and they have THE BEST açaí! They’re reasonably priced and offer a ton of smoothies and juices, too.
#FrayLife Tip: The line is short and the wait is usually only 5 minutes, but one negative aspect is they don’t list how much sugar is in anything (ya know, if you care).
Juicebox Jax – One thing that Juicebox Jax really specializes in is offering protein shakes and supplements, in addition to all the yummy açaí! If you’re also looking for the most affordable açaí in town, Juicebox Jax has your back. Most bowls are only around $8, which is a steal compared to some others!
#FrayLife Tip: They also offer a rewards card that gets you a free smoothie or bowl after you’ve made 10 purchases!
Fla Juice & Bowl – Of all the spots that offer açaí around town, Fla Juice & Bowl is the most popular. With all the normal açaí bowls and smoothies, they also offer cocoa and pitaya AND poké bowls! Now you can get the oh-so-popular Kombucha! They have a great menu, with the option to place your order online.
#FrayLife Tip: With all their popularity, the biggest con is that the wait usually takes 20 minutes.
Robeks – One of the advantages that Robeks has is that it closes at 7:30pm most days, while the other ones all close at 7 (perfect for if you need that last-minute açaí). Robeks is great at offering everything you might want – superfood, low-calorie, performance, and all the works! They also have a huge nutrition page online, so you can stay informed!

Vitality Bowls – Best thing about Vitality Bowls is that they are a growing chain, because it’s just so damn good! They put goji berries in a lot of the açaí bowls, which are hard to come by at other juice bars. They also are big-time promoters of dragon fruit, pitaya, and spirulina, so they have a ton of healthy bowl options.
#FrayLife Tip: They have some awesome meals you can order too, but the price at this place is higher than all the others.
Homespun Kitchen – Homespun Kitchen has a huge menu, with greek protein yogurt and banana pancakes in a bowl, but most importantly – AÇAÍ BOWLS. Hands-down best part is that you can get açaí for only $6, which is amazing!
#FrayLife Tip: They’re only a couple steps away from the beach, so it’s a great spot to treat a date to some açaí and walk to the beach for some romantic vibes.
Native Sun – With a location in Mandarin, Baymeadows, and Jax Beach, Native Sun is helping you out all across town! With an extensive juice bar menu, you can get açaí bowls for only $8, and they’re really healthy! Big pro is you can create your own açaí bowl…Now I want açaí.
