If you’re a pet-lover, you may be wondering about the best places to get your dog active or some quality time with other pups while you’re off doing human things. With plenty of places to do both in Jacksonville, we’re curated a list of the most popular options around the city.

BrewHound Dog Park
One of the most popular dog parks in Jacksonville, BrewHound is well-known for their large turf facility where the dogs can roam and play. They have “Ruffarees” who monitor the dogs’ socializing, a large water fountain for dogs to splash around, tubs filled with water for the dogs to cool off and drinks for the humans. Everyone raves about the beer and coffee selection. Occasionally, they have live music and food trucks, too. And they offer price options for daily, monthly or yearly visits ($9 per day and about $250 per year). BrewHound is definitely one of the best options for both dog and human entertainment. Camp Bow Wow
Dog boarding, daycare, training and grooming — Camp Bow Wow has it all. With large climate-controlled play yards, your dog can run around all day, while you spy on them through the Camp Bow Wow dog cams. And to ensure the safety of your furry friend, they have counselors that are certified in pet-first aid and CPR on the scene. Owner, Michelle Hudson said, “Essentially, what makes us different from other places, is that our boarding is all-inclusive and we don’t tack on fees for extra things. Along with that, too, we do have cameras in the yard at all times so that you can see your dog playing. We have everyone certified as a kennel technician and trainers on staff. We also offer an interview process where the dog gets a free day of dog daycare to see how they interact with the other dogs.” If you are considering taking your dog to Camp Bow Wow it’s $26 for a full day to play, the half days are up to 5 hours of care and are $18 and boarding overnight is $40 a night for one dog. And, as an added perk, your dogs get free baths if they stay for over 6 days, too. Camp Bow Wow: 8505 Baymeadows Rd., Jacksonville, FL; campbowwow.com // @campbowwow
