– In the spirit of Halloween, everything we do from now on must be Halloween-based. Just kidding, but not really. Lola’s Burrito & Burger Joint is in the festive spirit with their Hocus Pocus trivia! Get a team, get a burger, and get WINNING in some awesome trivia.

– Want to do some business networking…with beer? The EXIT community is coming to Hoptinger in Five Points to help spur the spirit of mingling & mixing so that you can connect with an awesome Real Estate leadership team. Make a new friend and grab yourself a new drink.

– UNF Healthy Osprey is hosting a Halloween-spirited run, the Swoopocalypse Zombie Run (that is supposed to make you run faster out of fear since “Zombie” is in the title)! Registration is at 6 PM and it starts behind the tennis courts, so come on out and get spooky (or just be a volunteer and be helpful).

– We all know real men wear pink. But some of them have a hard time accepting this. To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month, Moxie is hosting the Real Men Wear Pink campaign with all proceeds going to help find a cure. There is happy hour pricing all night with drink specials and awesome food, so, guys, wear your damn pink shirt.

Friday, October 26

– Are you man enough? No…? Okay, well maybe just watch. Who wants to watch a couple people fight AND make you laugh? Better question, who doesn’t?! The World’s Largest Knockout Party is coming to Jacksonville on October 26th so head to the Osborn Convention Center and get pumped up!

– With roots in south Florida, Ellameno Beat is returning to Jacksonville for an Epic Halloween show at 1904 Music Hall. Jamming alongside The Orange Constant, prepare for some vintage rock and good times.

– We all know that no one cares about the Florida-Georgia game, but EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, cares about the tailgate. With a ton of options to party at the World’s Largest Cocktail Party, you can specifically head to Border Bash for $30 and see Rich Homie Quan tear up the stage.

#FrayLifeTip: There are hundreds of tailgate parties so if you want a free one, just find your friends and party in the parking lot.

– Watching planes fly overhead is always cool, but watching them spin and fly in unison, that’s hard to beat. The show starts at 10 AM at the NAS Jacksonville Air Show with thrills like a couple of never-seen-before military and civilian demonstrations. The grand finale will be The Blue Angels! Spread your wings and FLY…to this show.

Sunday, October 28

– We all love some good bargain shopping at the flea market, but the Ramona Flea Market is actually having its Grand Re-Opening Event! All day Sunday, come on out and celebrate with food, shopping, a pumpkin patch, and trick or treating.

– From 9 AM to noon at the Pier, prepare for both a fun and educational event. You’ll start your morning off with some yoga from Big Fish Power Yoga while you hear ecological facts about sharks! Then, to top off this unique event, you’ll put on your gloves and get to work with a beach cleanup!

#FrayLifeTip: They have prizes and one of those is for the best costume (wink, wink).

– Sure, the name Howl-o-ween Barktacular is absurd, but this Kanine Social is a hoot! Everybody, bring your dogs, dress them up in cute costumes, and let them walk the “green carpet” (AKA, grass). There is a photo booth, costume contest, food truck, drink specials, and everything your heart can imagine. It’s only $10, so register your pup!

– The Wall Street Deli & Lounge proclaimed that they are feeling “extra creepy” this year and basically want to celebrate it, so that’s cool. From 7 to midnight, come on out and be creepy, too. Best costumes will win a $50 bar tab!

Tuesday, October 30

– You only have 1 day left before Halloween so last chance to get SPOOKED. North Florida’s Largest Haunted House is bringing its 4th year of hair-raising attractions to Jacksonville and daring you not to run out screaming. General admission is  $25, so grab a ticket if you think you can take the heat.

– Come to Main and Six the night before Halloween to make your most spooky, intense candle, just in time for Halloween. Candle scent options will be Halloween-themed, like Jack-O-Lantern, Dragon’s Blood, and more. During the candles’ cooling process, everyone will play some haunted trivia and there are prizes! Happy haunting!

It’s the last week of October. You’re spooked, your costume rocks, and you are ready for a week of some creepy fun. So ladies and gents, get out there and happy haunting – and tailgating – all throughout Jacksonville.

Don’t forget, the Jags play the Super Bowl champion Eagles in London this week. Check out our gameday guide for the best spots to watch our boys when they’re back from across the pond.
